1 | large yellow onion, sliced | ||

3 | cloves | garlic, minced | |
|
|||
1 | large green bell pepper, sliced | ||
|
|||
1 | large red bell pepper, sliced | ||
|
|||
1/4 | cup | dry white wine | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | dried oregano | |
|
Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Add sausage and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Add butter to the skillet. Add onion and garlic and heat for 3 minutes.
Mix in the peppers, wine and oregano. Cook until peppers are tender.
Slice the Italian sausage into 2-inch pieces and return to the skillet. Heat through and serve.
