Yield: 12 shamrocks
Preparation Time: 20 min
1 | bag | white chocolate wafers
1 | teaspoon | vegetable oil
3-4 | drops | green food coloring
1 | bag | mini twist pretzels
In a microwave safe bowl, add white chocolate wafers and vegetable oil. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, remove from microwave and stir; repeat this step until wafers are melted.
Add 3-4 drops of green food coloring to the wafers and stir. Continue to add drops for desired color.
Cover large sheet pan with parchment paper.
With a fork, submerge a pretzel into the melted white chocolate until it is completely covered. Remove the pretzel and allow the excess chocolate to drip back in the bowl. Place the pretzel on the parchment covered sheet pan.
Repeat this process with 3 pretzels, arranging them in a triangle shape to resemble a shamrock.
Next, break a pretzel twist into pieces that can be used as "stems". Dip the short pieces into the melted white chocolate and then position at the base of the "shamrock".
Let the shamrocks cool for 25-30 minutes, then serve!
