Enjoy a traditional meal in no time that is quick and easy when craving a great Polish meal. This recipe is filled with Johnsonville® Polish Kielbasa Sausage that is a perfect companion to potato pierogies that are cooked in a delicious medley of butter and onions.

1 | package | (19 ounces) Johnsonville® Polish Kielbasa Sausage | |

2 | packages | (16 ounces each) frozen potato pierogies | |
|
|||
1 | large onion, thinly sliced | ||
|
|||
2 | tablespoons | butter | |
|
|||
chopped fresh parsley | |||
|
Cook sausage according to package directions. Cool slightly; cut into coin-sized pieces.
In a Dutch oven, cook pierogies according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.
In a large skillet, cook and stir onions in butter over medium heat until tender; about 5 minutes.
Add sausage, continue to cook and stir until sausage is heated through.
Stir in pierogies.
Sprinkle with parsley.
