1/2 | cup | prepared Ranch dressing, divided | |

1 | teaspoon | Italian seasoning | |

2 | pounds | green and white asparagus, woody end snapped off and discarded | |

Salt to taste | |||

Warm a grill pan over medium high heat.
Place 2 Tablespoons of ranch dressing in a rectangular dish that is long enough to hold the asparagus.
Stir in Italian seasoning
Add asparagus spears to the dish and toss to coat with dressing.
Place asparagus in the preheated grill pan and grill for 5 minutes; flip and grill for 4 minutes longer until slightly blackened on each side.
Place asparagus on a serving platter. Season with salt and pepper and serve with remaining ranch dressing.
