2 | zucchini, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2- inch slices | ||

2 | yellow summer squash, neck cut off and discarded and sliced lengthwise into 1/2- inch slices | ||

1/4 | cup | melted butter | |

1 | teaspoon | garlic powder | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | ground black pepper | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
Warm a grill pan over medium high heat.
Place melted butter in a large bowl.
Stir in garlic powder, pepper and salt.
Add zucchini and squash to the bowl and toss to coat with melted butter.
With a slotted spoon, remove zucchini and squash from the butter and place in the preheated grill pan; grill for 10 minutes. Shake grill pan over rack every couple of minutes and continuing grilling for about 8 minutes longer until vegetables are slightly blackened on each side and tender.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
