Ingredients

Directions:

Combine bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup*.

Add ice to mixture and shake vigorously until cold .

Strain cocktail into glass and add orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish.

To make Simple Syrup:
Add the water and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and remove from heat. Cool the liquid completely.
