Directions:

Caramelized Onions:
Melt butter in large skillet set over medium heat; cook onions, salt and pepper for about 5 minutes or until slightly softened. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring often, for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Stir in maple syrup and vinegar; cook for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Sliders:
In large bowl, gently mix together beef, bread crumbs, egg, grated onion, garlic, 1 tbsp mustard, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Divide into 8 portions and shape into patties.

Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill burgers for 7 to 10 minutes or until meat is cooked through and temperature reaches 160 degrees F on instant-read thermometer when inserted into burgers.

Meanwhile, grill buns for about 1 minute or until lightly toasted.
